I am an endurance rider and occasional fitness nut. I took up endurance riding in 2011 as I have been riding horses my whole life and it was something I’d never tried.
My first port of call was an online store to get decked out with all the gear I’d need with this new change in direction. I ended up with the most comfortable pair of leather lace up boots that have a heel, so they are safe for riding. Did I mention I also require size 13 shoes? They look more like a hiking boot. I love these boots not only for the comfort, but for the way they free up my ankles when riding. Normal riding boots are up to your knees and don’t have a lot in the way of flexibility. As with everything, my favorite shoes do have a down side, as much as I rub my leather treatment in, they are not very waterproof, and I live in a pretty high rainfall area. Lots of wet socks after my morning rides. They have lasted a whole season of endurance which includes me running alongside the horse to give his back a rest, so they have clocked up a few miles now. I will keep using them till they fall apart and then look for something similar with better waterproofing as cold socks on winter mornings is not very inviting. |

My favorite black coach purse is the best handbag and I would not trade it for the world - the perfect clutch bag in my opinion. It is the perfect size, not too big and not too little. It can carry everything I need to bring with me without getting in the way. The color black goes with most of my outfits so I very rarely need to switch my purse because it does not match what I am wearing. The fact that I have the matching wallet also plays a role in why I love the bag. I've always leaned towards Coach brand bags and wallets because the quality is fantastic. They last a life time and look beautiful. To me, it's worth the price we pay to have them! They might be a little costly but its better than having to go buy a new one every few months. |

I love dresses - from Maggie and Me dresses to ones I make myself. Since 9 months of my year consists of snow or cold, I know it’s summer when I see the cutest new dress! Dresses are fun, because there are so many styles that can work on any body type, and because there are so many, you can find a dress that fits your personality. If I had the money, I would have dresses of every color and style! They can be very comfortable if it is a casual dress, or ultra formal. Dresses are also wonderful, because they make me feel like a real woman. I feel beautiful when I’m wearing a dress, and I know that I can be whomever I want when I’m in it. Each dress has it’s own personality of course, which transfers to yours. I think dresses will always be in! Whether it’s a dress that stretches to your feet, or one that is only worn once by a bride, they will always be in style! |
