I love to keep fit on a budget. As I don’t have the extra money each month to pay for a fancy gym membership, I benefit from online workout tools such as youtube videos to help me find new and fun ways to exercise. A personal trainer can be expensive too, BUT they can end up saving you a lot of grief and injury since they set you in the right direction and tell you how to exercise safely. As to my own routines, yoga is one of my favourite types of exercise as it really works your muscles, stretches out your limbs and gets your heart rate up. All you need is a mat and the internet and there are thousands of websites with free yoga routines. I also enjoy Zumba, as it is a lot of fun and you can do it in your living room. I try to workout at least four times a week however this is not always possible. At the very least, I do some jumping jacks and sit-ups in the evening so I don’t feel too guilty about the extra biscuits I shouldn’t have eaten!
