For me, the best way to see the UK is by motorhome. I always tell my retired friends to look at some motorhomes for sale, get themselves one, and go on an adventure! It's not as scary as it sounds - it does take some organization, but once you're all set, it's actually quite easy, and then you can focus on where you want to go rather than just the logistics. Because you're cooking "at home", it's a super cheap way to go on a vacation too. I spend so little when I'm in my motorhome - and I do know people who live on the road full-time, and they live far cheaper than I do in my bricks and mortar home - it really can be a way of life too. So don't just automatically think about package holidays when considering your next holiday - think about a motorhome holiday! |
